Thank you for visiting www.pollypocketbestdayever.co.uk ("the Website"). The following terms and conditions (the "Promotion Terms") apply to our "Win a Polly Pocket Wall Party Room Makeover" promotion (the "Promotion") which should be read in conjunction with our Website Privacy Policy. Please read the following information carefully:
1. The Promotion is open to residents within the United Kingdom except Northern Ireland and employees and their families of Mattel Inc, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the organisation of the promotion. Entrants less than the age of sixteen (16) years-old must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before entering. A parent or legal guardian must complete personal details on the entry form. The email address and postal address provided must be that of the parent. Entrants must be under the age of sixteen (16) years-old to participate. Any entries received by any person over the age of sixteen (16) years-old will be disqualified.
2. The Promotion starts on Tuesday 21st August 2012 (the "Start Date") and closes at midnight GMT on November 30th 2012 (the "Closing Date"). No online or postal entries can be made before the Start Date or after the Closing Date. Entries received by post or online, after the Closing Date will not be counted. Judging will take place from Monday 3rd December 2012 until Tuesday 11th December 2012. All winners will be informed by email on Wednesday 12th December 2012 and a postal notification will be sent out on December 12th 2012. All other relevant prizes will be sent directly to winners using the details provided on the submitted entry. Mattel Inc. will not accept responsibility for the delivery of prizes or the details provided on entries. Entrants providing incorrect details may be disqualified. A correct postal address and email address must be provided to enter. Postal entries must be sent to POLLY POCKET BEST DAY EVER, BM 4905, LONDON WC1N 3XX using the entry form provided on www.pollypocketbestdayever.co.uk and online entries must be submitted using the online form provided on www.pollypocketbestdayever.co.uk.
3. Entrants are required to describe what their Best Day Ever would be. A drawing is not required but can be included if the entrant would like to include one to support their entry. If your child’s entry is chosen as a winner, you agree to your child’s name, age and entry being published on www.pollypocketbestdayever.co.uk. You also agree that these details can be disclosed to people wishing to be supplied with winner details. Your email address and postal address will not be provided.
4. Judging Criteria: The winners will be those that are deemed to submit an entry that is original and which the judges deem to be in the spirit of Polly Pocket. For the purposes of clarity, most consideration will be given to those entries which embody an active, participative lifestyle around friendship, fun and adventures.
5. Grand Prize Winner: The grand prize winner’s parent or guardian must respond to the Polly Pocket Team after the announcement. If we do not hear back from the grand prize winner’s parent or legal guardian within one week of notification, another winner may be chosen. The grand prize winner must redeem their prize by the 30th June 2013. This date cannot be changed.
6. Prizes: There will be one (1) Grand prize winner, one (1) second prize winner, twenty (20) runners up and one hundred (100) additional winners.
- The Grand Prize winner will receive a Polly Pocket Wall Party Room Makeover. This is a cash prize equivalent to £1,000.00 to employ a decorator to make over one child’s bedroom for one day*. No cash alternative is available. The grand prize winner must provide bedroom specifications and details prior to the visit. The Room Makeover also includes 5 POLLY POCKET Wall Party products** which will be fixed (but can be removed at a later date) on to the child’s wall; as part of the Room Makeover

8. Individuals are permitted to enter more than once but households are restricted to one prize only. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programming, or any other automated means outside of the promotion Web site are prohibited and will be disqualified. No purchase necessary. Only valid and correctly completed entries will be accepted.
9. If a dispute arises regarding who submitted an online or postal entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address / postal details and name provided at time of entry. Authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
10. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any damage, loss or injury arising from the award of a prize.
11. Personal information collected from entrants will be used by the Promoter for the sole purpose of administering the promotion. Promoter will not sell, share or otherwise disclose personal information of entrants with third parties, other than to third parties engaged by Promoter to fulfil the above purposes or as permitted or required by law and other than that stated above.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to award alternative prizes of equal or greater value, should any of the advertised prizes become unavailable for any reason. All descriptions, specifications and images of prizes used in promotional material are valid at the time of going to print. Colours and other minor specifications of prizes may differ from those illustrated. No cash alternative is offered.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries and withhold any prizes which may have been won if it believes that an entrant has not complied with the Website Terms or Promotion Terms and reserves the right to take appropriate legal action if necessary. Judge’s decision is final and no discourse will be entered into.

16. By participating in the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by, and are deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions.
